Pints and Politics: presented by the Oregon League of Conservation Voters

October 17, 2019 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

This fall, the City of Bend’s Climate Action Steering Committee will present a Community Climate Action Plan to the Bend City Council for approval and adoption. The plan will serve as a roadmap in supporting our community’s path to a sustainable future, in taking practical action across a wide range of sectors and activities, and in achieving the goals of Bend City Council’s adopted Resolution 3044 – a 40% decrease in fossil fuel use by 2030 and a 70% decrease by 2050.

Join OLCV, members of the Climate Action Steering Committee – Laurel Hamilton, Eric Duea, and Jamie Klopp – and City of Bend senior management analyst, Cassie Lacy, to learn about the climate action plan. Find out how the plan will help reduce GHG emissions and fossil fuel use, ask questions, and find out how you can ensure that our community moves forward with this important work.
